Helayne and Leslie Wagner, a couple in their 40's & 50's with their three children, enjoy the spaciousness of their turn-of-the-century Victorian home on a quiet, tree-lined street.  Leslie, an MIS technical director, works in nearby Downtown Brooklyn. In his spare time, when not playing with the kids, he adds to and keeps the Homestay website up-to-date.  Helayne, a former marriage and family counselor and curriculum writer for the New York City High Schools, devotes her professional attention to enriching and expanding Homestay New York.  Relaxation and fun for their son is Nintendo games, baseball, baseball and more baseball.  Their daughters delight in "dressing up", drawing and in fashioning adventures with their dolls.  As a family they visit museums, attend theatre appropriate for children, take trips to neighboring states and feel fortunate to experience the world through their contacts with Homestay guests. In addition, Les and Helayne travel, attend Broadway shows, savor reading, fine and ethnic dining and movies.

The guests stay on a private third floor with two large bedrooms and bath.  Both rooms have air conditioning and TV and one room has a VCR with appropriate movie tapes for both young and old. With either a view of the street or the back yard each room is light and airy.
